Practice with a purpose, Play with a passion

The Schemerhorn family and I go back a little ways ..even further then the years I have spent documenting their many family memories.

Because I have known members of the Schemerhorn

extended family since we ourselves were younger than

the majority of Steve and Brandi's children!

But time marches on and and children become blessed adults ..first ourselves then our offspring.

So this is not my first time
celebrating one of the Schemerhorns coming of age...

and hopefully it won't be my last..

(I’m waiting on ya gorgeous Lizzie)!

And now here I am documenting the bittersweet joy of having another of their children on the brink of independent adulthood..

JP Schemerhorn,

a senior at Tri-County high school in Wolcott Indiana.

JP has loved sports from the moment he was old enough to walk.  As a little boy, he played soccer with such zeal, he was told to let others have a chance to score goals! Too funny! Go JP!!!

That passion for sports has continued throughout his life...

Allowing Jp to earn a black belt in karate, as well as multiple varsity sports letters while playing both travel basketball and baseball.

And now in just a few months, June 2023 will see Jp wrapping up his immensely active high school years with both Academic and Technical Honors!
JP is a 4 year football, basketball and baseball player for TC as well as Co-Captain of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Senior Class Treasurer.  After graduation JP plans to attend college and earn a degree in sports management and intends to play football in college.

I am sure absolutely nothing will hold Jp back in life with his determination, strong drive and above average talent leading his way--along with his dedicated mother and father rooting him on as always.

Congrats to another Schemerhorn victory!

Much love and success,
Roxanne
