This series is my attempt to bring the dark reality of domestic battering both physical and emotional into the bright light of day, not only to raise awareness but also to help victims realize the danger and the madness of this lifestyle and where it can ultimately lead. In the end I hope my images not only provoke recognition but also push victims to take back their power from their abuser and demand their due for a happy, fulfilling, productive life free from abuse of any sort. No longer must these ugly truths remain hidden 'Behind Closed Doors'
