Artist statement:

Like a lot of creatures I have always had a complicated relationship with my mother. Constantly evolving while going nowhere we consistently remain at odds despite our close genetic link. The one person in life who should love you unconditionally is your mother, but maybe that is not the case in every situation. Maybe nature does not always guarantee nurture and that’s what I hope to explore in these images.
