Don't worry Beach happy...Raegan turns 4
I have been blessed to take photos of this baby girl since her very first birthday.
From the beginning, Raegan has made me work for her attention and I have had no problem with that as she has always been well worth the effort.
From her shy one-year-old self to her shy four-yr-old self she has let her personality shine through. From day one that I had the blessing of knowing Raegan I knew she had two parents that were no longer involved in a relationship with each other per se but were VERY MUCH involved in a relationship with each other as PARENTS to a child they both loved.
Now 3 years later I find myself as a family unit that is no longer cohabitating together but is still readily involved with our own daughter as joint parents in a similar situation. So I am even more appreciative of the vibe her loving, but not together parents, put out. And I hope to continue to give our own daughter the same stable ground of love and support that Nicole and Luke give Raegan.
Four-year-old Raegen is very much independent and secure in the love her family surrounds herself with. She is both shy and brave in her personality and her need to make her demands known. To be honest, I love everything about this child, lol!
I hope to document many years to come with this precious child and her family unit that now is representative of my very own.

I haven't really been shooting this year as most of my clients know..I've been on hiatus ...but some things are meant to be and such is this family session I did recently.
With her mother and brothers coming to Michigan from North Carolina for Mother's Day weekend, daughter Tiffany contacted me for their well planned out photoshoot.
From their perfectly coordinated outfits to the obvious family love they share and the lively high energy they brought to the day I could not have asked for a more fun group.
Mom, Karen and her four children, Erika, Tiffany, Jonathan and David also wanted to make sure they honored dad Darren, a pastor, who passed in 2019 and whose loss is still felt.
Thank you so much to this family for including me while documenting their memories.
It was a blessing to meet you all.

In honor of her big 3-0 Schaterika wanted to do a photoshoot showing her loving life with the ones that she loves-- her adorable 8 year old daughter Samyria as well as her cousins, Aaron and Kyara.
I know Schaterika is going to bring as much joy to her next decade as she brought to the last!

I first met Shari and her son Troy 2 years ago while shooting images for Troy's Senior photos. He is, to this day, one of the most stylish guy seniors to grace my camera!
His mom Shari is his biggest supporter, always right behind him as this image from that session portrays.
But Shari's love for family extends even further than her adorable son and so we did a family session with her husband Dr. Brooks and his son Gianni,her gorgeous stylish mother-they call her Grandma Honey (lovee!) (is that where you get your fashion sense Troy??!), and of course it wouldn't be family without all the cousins included!
Thank you for including me again Shari in your family's life. You are all awesome and it's always a blessing seeing you and Troy.

Some of my clients are my friends first and clients second..and Steve and Brandi Schemerhorn are definitely friends first. I have known Steven since he was 12 and I was 15, going back to our days at
Calumet Baptist School when I was best friends with one of his sisters.
So it's always a pleasure for me to meet up with him and his family for their photos. Especially when Brandi takes us to an awesome location for photos!
